Getting married at Neverland Ranch at this time of year was such a good idea. The light was beautiful. Alan wearing his cowboy hat made for some cool pictures. There were also some cameo appearances of coke bottle glasses. Check out the pictures to see for yourself.

  • The Kirk House

Corrie and Zach just celerated their one year anniversary. I travelled to their new home. It was very beautiful home and their dog was so playful and frolicked about during the photography session. During their anniversary weekend, Corrie walked 60 miles in Atlanta for the 3 day Fight for Breast Cancer.

  • State Botanical Gardens - Athens, GA

Whimsical wedding at the State Botanical Gardens in Athens, Georgia. Emotions, feelings, friends, happiness and miniature bride and groom ducks were all a part of the day. There were so many great moments at this wedding. I was honored to photograph it.

  • Hyatt Regency Pier 66 — Pompano Beach, FL

The city view was amazing atop the Pier 66 Restaurant and I captured some great photojournalistic moments of the bridal party in the South Florida sun. As the sun went down, the party sizzled and everyone had the best time. Wild wedding photography is probably a good decription.

  • Seabrook Island Club - Seabrook Island, South Carolina

I was thrilled when asked to do Jamie and Nathan’s wedding at a country club by the beach in Seabrooke Island South Carolina. Jamie and Nathan love the stylistic photojournalistic approach and were a delight to work with. As the sun went down, we got some truly cool shots. The night ended with sparklers and bridesmaids jumping in the ocean. Highly recommend looking at these pictures.

  • Payne Corley House

Courtney and Jay were married at the Payne-Corely House. The groom is a big wrestling fan, so we made sure to get a great photo of him and his belt. As the pictures show, the bridesmaids had some fun playing with the bride’s blue sash. My favorite photo is the black and white of Courtney showing the back of her dress—she was stunning!

  • Atlanta Athletic Club

The lighting was great and worked well with the candid style of the photos. My favorite photo is the bride and groom walking into the sunset. I love the contrast of the green grass against her elegant white gown and his black tux.

  • Ansley Golf Club

Ashley & Wade were married December 1, 2007. It was a beautiful Buckhead wedding. There was a string quartet that played Christmas songs in the background, a very nice change of pace for this wedding photographer. Ashley's sorority sisters sang to her while she sat on Wade's lap. Very fun to photograph indeed.

  • Payne Corley House

Michelle was such an elegant bride and one of the best shots is the black & white image of her and her dad walking down the aisle. My other favorite picture is the one with her grandfather in front of the house.

Rebecca and Jonathon

  • Marietta Conference Center and Resort

Rebecca is a friend of a Big Day Photography and made a lovely and elegant bride. Her long white veil was absolutely beautiful! Their evening ended as the groom carried his bride across the threshold ready to start the honeymoon. Check out the pictures of Jonathon throwing her on the bed in their room.

This University of Tennessee bride was lovely with a stunning bouquet of purples and greens. What a different and good choice of colors. Very emotional and lots of fun.

  • Atlanta Women's Club - Wimbish House

I loved this magical wedding with the use of the color red and chocolate poker chips for their poker buddies! I wanted to capture the love and good energy at this wedding using a photojournalistic style to express the emotion of the day.

I love this family and I have had the privilege of shooting Janell’s sister’s (Regan and Rachel) weddings too. One of my favorite photos is the one of Janell and her dad walking down the aisle showcasing her beautiful white dress. They also had a crazy bridal party. Notice the guys doing push-ups in the background.

  • Trolley Barn

This was a destination wedding for Cassandra and Dalibor who live in Chilie. The ceremony which ended in a spectacular release of butterflies was held at a private home in Atlanta and afterwards the reception was held at the Trolley Barn. Her flowers were lovely and everyone had a great time dancing and celebrating their special day.

Stephanie and Eric

Stephanie and Eric

  • Tucker First United Methodist Church     |
  • Smoke Rise Golf and Country Club

Stephanie and Eric are University of Georgia Athens (UGA) former students and used school spirit as the theme for their wedding. From the bridesmaids dresses to the groom’s cake, the Georgia Bulldog was present, you've got to see the pictures in View Highlights or the Slideshow to see what I mean. Stephanie was a cheerleader for UGA and proved herself to be a trooper having made it through her wedding after spraining her back at the very beginning of the wedding.

Talk about energy. Brandy's wedding had it. She is so full of life and vigor. It's the first time I've seen a bride dance down the aisle. Click on View Highlights to find out why.

What an amazing dress. Audrey had quite a group of spirited bridesmaids. Pink was the color of the day. The day was lot's of fun. Check out the picture of the groom doing a backspin on the floor. Very impressive.

  • Christ the King Cathedral - Buckhead     |
  • The Capital City Club - Atlanta

I love it when a couple want to have creative and fun pictures from their wedding! Lisa and Chris wanted some creative post wedding portraits, so they rented a van and we went all around Atlanta and got some great shots of them, like the one in front of the Fox Theatre. From there we went to the elegant Capital City Club where the party was rocking so hard, it went until the wee hours of the night.

  • Davis Farm - Cartersville, GA

Julie & Jeremy were married at the Davis Farm in charming Cartersville Georgia. Julie had a bridesmaid play the flute during the ceremony, not a dry eye could be found at the place. My favorite picture is of the bride with her sister and mother.

Laura and Jason's wedding at the Carl House was great. The weather was nice and everybody had a great time. I love the Ritchie family. I photographed her sister Kelly's wedding a few years ago and will be doing the same for her cousin Shanna for a 2008 New Year's Eve wedding.

Colleen and Michael

  • Christ the King Cathedral - Buckhead     |
  • Maggiano's - Buckhead

Colleen and Michael are a super nice couple. I couldn't have had a better time photographing their wedding. Long story short, the groom's parents attended the wedding in the form of stick figures. Look at the highlights to see what I mean. Also, they gave out fresh peaches as a wedding favor for a good old Georgia tradition.
